How to Sign-up to Check Grades on Gradespeed      posted 10-27-2009

You may now check grades on Gradespeed. By using Gradespeed, you will be able to view grade information, attendance information, and set triggers to send you alerts about grades or attendance. We highly recommend you check the grades on Thursday, which is the day we give progress reports to your child. We will send all graded papers home on Thursday so you can see the grades received.

To get started, click on the "Create an Account" link above this message. Then, click on the "Click here to sign up" link (bottom left hand side). On the Parent Account Signup page complete the required fields. Then, you must read and accept the User Agreement. Then, click "Sign Up". You will receive a message stating an email has been sent to the email address provided. Enter the verification code exactly as shown in the email. Click "Continue". You should then be logged into ParentConnection. Click "Add a student to my account" link. Enter student informaton in all fields. The street type must be abbreviated (trust me it must be). Do not type Apt. before an apartment number in the street address, instead space after the street address, then type the apartment number. The student identification number is the social security number. After all this, cross your fingers, and click "Submit". You will hopefully receive a dialog box and email informing you of your application status. If any information did not match the information on file for your student, your access will be denied. Contact Guidance if you cannot correct the information. Multiple students may be added to your account. Click the "Add Students" for each additional student. We will continue to use Classbuilder for assignments, messages, etc. Good luck!
