Christmas break is approaching quickly. In addition, Dec 21 (last day of school before the break) is the end of the second grading period and the end of the first semester. That means that in addition to celebrations and excitement there will also be end-of-term tests.
Geometry: We continue with triangles to the end of the quarter.
Algebra I: We end Chapter 4 (Tuesday 11/29) and begin Chapter 5 learning how to free variables from parenthesis and fractions.
General Science: We will be working on Earth Science for the rest of this quarter. Thursdays are "Beakman's World" video days.
Cooking Class:Is there a food or dish you think your student may need to know how to prepare in 35 minutes or less? The dish will need to be plate ready in about 35 minutes. Let me know and give me a recipe.
R-E-S-P-E-C-T: Please help your student understand that respect of the school, teachers and other students as well as a good attitude and good behavior are important for them to learn and are important in not distracting others from learning.
