Welcome to Mulberry Middle and 6th grade. We will do all that we can to make this year a fun and enjoyable experience for you. (Index cards and highlighters will be kept for in class use only)


In Language Arts class we will be working on improving our "Main Idea" strategy skills. Please help your child with this whenever possible. Have him/her read a paragraph and tell you what it was about. Every little bit helps.



Storyworks Magazine will be sponsoring writing contests throughout the year. Students can earn extra credit by submitting their writing for possible publication. Forms for submission can be obtained from the magazine site or you may request forms from Ms. Dowling.
