ACE Response Format for Math

A…Answer the problem.


C…Compute your work. (Computation-solve it. Pictures help.)


E…Explain your strategy. (How did you get your answer? What were your steps? Be specific.)


-In the ACE format for math, students will do the computation section first to figure out the answer. Finally, they will include their steps for the strategy they used to find a solution in the explain section.
